Introduction to the Neighborhood Safety Committee
As some of you may be aware, there have been times in the past when Northcrest has had a Neighborhood Watch program. Usually this is spurred by a small wave of break-ins in the neighborhood, and as we become aware of the criminal activity a group of us will assemble and formalize the Neighborhood Safety Committee. I've been a member of the last three Neighborhood Watch efforts - generally what happens is that there is a lot of interest when crimes are being committed, but due both to our own vigilance and the efforts of our local police, the culprit(s)...
