Northcrest Civic Association Annual Meeting 2018
Northcrest neighbors are invited to attend the Northcrest Civic Association's (NCA) Annual Meeting for 2018. The meeting will be held on October 10th 2018 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm in the Pleasantdale Elementary school cafeteria. The schedule for the Annual Meeting is as follows: 6pm - enjoy some free pizza courtesy of Marco's Pizza! Meet and greet, chat with neighbors, choose a comfy chair. 6:30pm - welcome introduction from the NCA President, Ingrid Nuss. Northcrest Civic Association Annual Meeting 2017
The Northcrest Civic Association (NCA) was reconstituted in early 2016 in response to a need for an organization representing the Northcrest neighborhood to respond to local SLUPs and zoning/planning announcements. The NCA from that point to the current date has met with commercial developers, like those redeveloping Embry Village (which includes Kroger), those redeveloping the gas station at the corner of Northcrest and Chamblee Tucker Rd.; and also with the DeKalb County School Superintendents office concerning the new Pleasantdale Elementary rebuild. Letter from the President 2016
First, a big thank you to everyone who came out to Tuesday night's Northcrest Civic Association Annual Meeting. We had a very informative session with DeKalb Police and received updates on everything that is going on around our 'hood from our NCA Committee Chairs. I was especially excited to see pictures of the new school! It isn't MCM, but we can't win them all now can we?
