The community meeting that was scheduled by SR Homes to discuss the proposed Wintercrest development has been rescheduled from Tuesday, October 10th to Monday, December 10th. The time and location are the same. Please see the original news article for these details. The reschedule was as a result of the notices about the meeting not being delivered in a timely manner. Please update your calendar to reflect the new date of December 10th, 2018. The letter (example below) is being mailed to all residents within 500 feet of the proposed rezoning, but please spread the word to all of your neighbors....

The NCA team have heard from SR Homes, the company behind the proposed Wintercrest development, regarding a community meeting. The meeting has been scheduled by SR Homes for October 30th at 7pm. The meeting will be at the Redeemer Orthodox Presbyterian Church, 3930 Chamblee Tucker Road. Northcrest neighbors are encouraged to attend to see the plans and ask any questions about the proposed development.

The meeting will be held on October 10th 2018 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm in the Pleasantdale Elementary school cafeteria. SR Homes, LLC will be seeking a Special Land Use Permit (SLUP) to change the zoning on five parcels located within Northcrest to residential. These proposed properties are bordered by Wintercrest Court, Romelie Drive, Foxford Court, Lynnray Drive, and Beya Way. They are currently zoned R-3 or R-100.  SR Homes plan to have them rezoned so that they can build 20 to 30 new single-family detached fee simple homes in the $550,000 to $700,000 plus range.
